I will admit that a UFO tried to give me a ride once but I refused to go. Also I did see an alien on yahoo answers, keep an eye out for him.

There still are many. As a matter of fact sightings are being reported in nearly record numbers. Check the UFO reporting sites on the web - NUFORC, HBCCUFO, Filer's Files, etc.
I see that many answers to this question are nothing more than mindless ridicule. That kind of answer is so easy and child-like, it requires absolutely no real thought at all. To do so may give someone a "smug" feeling about themselves and their limited perception - but those answers tell us nothing about the question, only about the limited mental capacity of those making such answers.

I must agree with one of the answers given above. The people prefer not to report that to the authorities. However, it is now the authorities in many countries that are concerned about the UFO's after recent incidents reported by military and non military pilots.
Too late to prevent war. All the UFO members are in Congress and the White House.

there are people just gave up reporting them for the most part because they don't want to be labeled lunatic and nothing gets done about it anyway.
oh, one theory is that the good aliens are coming back to save us from ourselves because we evolve into them and if we destroy ourselves we can't evolve into them then they won't be able to exist so they are trying to help us not become extinct.
Also that they gave us modern technology in exchange for the government leaving them alone to do whatever they want and
keeping their secret(s).
Check the Phoenix Lights and things like that
