I don't agree. You can have love without sex, and you can definitely have sex without love.
At its optimal function, love in sex go hand in hand. But they don't ever equal one another. They aren't interchangeable.

If that was true, people who have tons of sex partners must have alot of love in their hearts. Sex is just a function. You do it to get off. Making love is totally different.

Love can equal sex but often sex is just that and nothing more.

I think that if you are in a committed, happy relationship a healthy sex life is a necessity for maintaining it's fresh and connected reality. If you deny yourself or your partner the physical pleasures that come with an intimate relationship, without it being a mutual agreement, please be reassured you will be alone before too long.

It is not true. A better statement would be Lust equals Sex.

I'd say have sex with someone if you love them but sex doesn't come from love, nor love from sex, they co exist in a unity

I think it depends on how much oxytocin your body produces per sex act. Some people produce a lot and they're the kind who associate sex with love.
