Even if by luck or fluke Barcelona eliminate Liverpool, Rafael Benitez won't go. Because under him Liverpool have won the Champions League, FA Cup, got their highest ever Premier League points last season and playing very consistently and nicely. Rafa has worked on a small budget and improved the club to a great extent. He has done an unbelievable job. He will be asked to leave Liverpool only if they underachieve for one full season

Nah. Because Liverpool won't be the one eliminated...Liverpool is going to eliminate Barcelona from the CL!
IF it does so happen to turn out that Liverpool is the one eliminated from the CL, I still don't think Rafa will leave. I'm going to give him a season or two more.

Liverpool have got a very good chance of getting through to the next stage of the champions league, winning 2-1 away from home was the perfect start we where looking for, and Barcelona coming to anfield will be intimidated, i think it will be 1-0 or 1-1, and no benitez will not leave, he is the best man for the job, that said you never now whats gonna happen next in football!!!!!!!!!!!

If he wanted to leave then he would have left in the summer. Madrid wanted Rafa, but Rafa didn't want Madrid.
As for knocking out Liverpool - it would take an awful performance from Liverpool or a brilliant performance from Barcelona for this to happen. I'm taking nothing for granted, but in Europe, it's not very often a team will lose at home, then go away and progress.
