May be this I haven't explained myself well.
I have to point the patcher to the "name of game.exe" (defalt path C:\Program Files\name of game). And this is my problem because I don't know how to point the patcher. Then as I said before I have to apply the patch to the file so I can plya the full game. By the way Ihave used Azures to download.

If it's an .exe file, you navigate to the program folder and place it there, replacing when prompted.

Edit- Assuming you're using XP with a standard set up. Click on start, my computer, C:, program files, then look for the name of the game or in some cases, the name of the publisher and the game folder will be inside. Once the game folder is open, drag and drop the crack, overwriting when prompted. Note the program folder may be kept from view or whatever so if you're prompted, allow viewing of it.

Edit again- Did you try the browse option? It should be a similar path as above, except you're clicking browse(or in some cases it may be say something like "search" or "look for") rather than the start button. If it doesn't give you a browse option, follow the path described in the 2nd paragraph above and then run it.

In essence once you get the patched file you need to put it in instead of the one that is already there. for example you are putting your patched game.exe where you have your installed game.exe

You need to replace it, so if it asks you if u wanna overwrite say yes.

One thing you need to take into account is the game version, if you have the nocd patch for V1.02 and just installed the game it will probably not work because usually games are V1.00 when they are fresh from the CD(or wherever it was installed from). If that is the case and you have a patched .exe first find the actual game patch to update it to the desired version. On that same line, note that some game patches are higher than the "nocd"patch you are trying to use. If that is the case it also won't work.

The magic is in getting the same installed game version and fixed "game.exe" version.

if you have the patch downloaded, you will have to drop it in the main file of the game, but most patches download straight into the game.???
