I'm too old for clubs but too young for a zimmer frame so I'm looking for interesting, non-beach oriented things to do!

oh a person after my own heart.Me and my husband are both52 i dont know your age but i perume you meant this age era.Malta is wonderful i cant praise it enough. We go every year. It is steeped in history. The people are very friendly.I would advised trying out the buses they are very cheap, you can get day or week passes. There are so many places to see its hard to put it all down.Go to the capital valletta, there is a tourist information place there.Try and get over to Gozo aswell, you get a ferry there thats fun watching the locals driving on the ferry.you can get a trip/or just go straight to the blue lagoon by the many boats that will take you there. There is a vast variety of boat trips but we found them very long days besides you have to be sea worthy ha ha.If you like churches you will love this place i am not a religious type as such but it takes your breath away when you see them.As for the history,if you like it then this is the place for you.We are going back on the 15th of may and i cant wait.Just one word of caution dont be fooled by anyone giving you a free scratch card and telling you youve won they are trying to sell you something. I hope you have a fantastic time

Diving is a good thing to try and there are many schools for this. Gozo is the sister island and a real 'get away from it all' place. Car rental is cheap but you have to drive offensively to survive!

The busses are interesting, some are real charabangs. The Maritime Musium is good and the Grand Harbour is exactly that.

For grown-ups there's always casinos, the Dragonara is the finest and has the best selection of tables games including Texas Hold 'em open poker tables, the restaurant is good value too. Zest restaurant in St. Julians is most likely the best 'fusion' style place and Lulu's near the Hilton is good if your a bit romantic, though the Hilton has a Blue Elephant which is nice but expensive. If you want to try the local Maltese place it has got to be The Avenue - piles of pasta really cheap and always good.

Mdina is an interesting city to visit and very historic. Booze is cheap and so are cigs, but smoking regs apply indoors. The Eden complex has tenpin bowling and 16 screens.

Pretty much everything is possible in Malta, they're kind of flexible with the law, so enjoy yourself.

Hope you'll enjoy your holiday in Malta. Malta is a nice island. The climate there is superb. Very nice and hot climate all year long. My sister lives there. She went on holiday there, she met her husband there, she got married there and eventually lived there. I visit her quite often using Ryan Air (which is quite cheap). The people there are very friendly and welcoming.

Surely a nice place to recommend !!! ++++++++++

at the starting up, wel come to india! truly i'd favor one to go with one or extra themes earlier planning a visit to an massive united states of america jointly with India. For travelling you've decision of seashores(then pass to South India), or hill station(then pass to north India). South India isn't reliable if you're a foodstuff lover. For non secular or historic excursion, do pass to north. you could also imagine of a recommendations east or Manali if interested in Buddhism. North has Rajputana, british and mogal historic past to make sure. Your excursion time has maximum pleasant climate virtually everywhere, so in simple terms come over. For any micro information you're wel come mail me.

Malta is famous for its diving, but if your not into that you should at least take a boat trip with some snorkeling. the best place to go is st Julian's, good shopping, lots of restaurants/bars.
