Mentally dissociate yourself from the belief that it has a complete hold over you. Focus and concentrate with as much intensity as you can on something that has greater and opposite power. Whenever the unwanted one arises in your mind, will your mind back to the opposite power. For example if the thing with a hold on you is a hatred, concentrate on love. God's love, love of flowers, your best friend, any resource or image that works in your mind to keep your mind on love.

Its rarely possible to let something go overnight. It takes a long time for something to gain complete control over us.Similarly,it will take a long time to let go.You will be able to let go of something only if you allow yourself to heal.Give yourself time.Dont compel your mind to let it go.It is a natural process that requires reasonable time.

Do you truly want to be freed? The choice is yours.
