I do this with my students as a warm up to a lesson.
1. Find 20 items and put on the table and look at them for 30 seconds and then put them away and try to write them all down.
2. Have a mixture of numbers, maybe 15 or so, and see if you can recall them by writing the number in order on some paper.
3.Trying to name 30 countries starting with a particular letter of the alphabet.
4. 2. Use mnemonic devices. These are memory improvement techniques, and are sometimes quite elaborate. One common device uses words or abbreviations to compress lists of information into shorter bits that are easier to remember.
5. Draw a mind map so you learn all the main bits. Like a branches of a tree

1. read a book and list the order in which the events happened
2. name all the people in a room after sitting for 10 minutes with them...and asking their names of course
3. remember what members of your family were wearing
4. get 10 random words and their definitions. study the definitions and try to recall them after you hide them where you can't see them
5. have someone draw a picture. look at the picture until the person takes it away. then remember what was in the picture and where.
6. have someone rearrange your room and then see if you can put it back together by memory.....
7. umm.....
8. remember what you ate yesterday
9. .............???
10. ...guess someone else has to find the rest of them lol
