I dunno but this thing is worrying me. Yesterday I saw 3 guys. I couldn't tell how old they were but they all had hoodies with the hoods pulled up. And two had scarfs wrapped round their faces like bank robbers! Ok, so it's in fashion to hide your face in case you get clocked by CCTV before you do whatever. This is nuts. I know plenty of people that have hoodies, they're like sweatshirts something to wear on laundry day or out in the cold, they never put the hoods up. So these things are being used for another purpose by some people.

this "hoodie" lark does my head in!! It just seems that the general public needs to associate an item of clothing to label them as bullies or whatever! we had it when beastie boys wore car logo's around their neck...branded the youth as houlagans who wore them...wear a leather biker jacket and you're a rough biker...etc..you get the picture! So what if they wear hoddies, it doesn't label them a criminal, small narrow minded people do that! I wear hoodies and i'm in my 30's, so what!

i see where youre coming from but i dont think we should blame the clothes....the main issue here is that respect has taken a new meaning, on the streets is means how tough can you get. It starts with upbringing that is what we should be concentrating on...family breakdown

There is no causal relationship between clothing and violence, no more than there's a causal relationship between eating shellfish and whistling.
