r & b stands for Rythmn & Blues but try not to get confused! Rythmn & Blues originally started in the 1950's but compaired to todays music it sounds nothing like how r&b supposed to be!

Rhythm and Blues and th w*nker that says Rhythm and Bass should be hung by there testicles at dawn.
Blues is the oldest form of popular music and has been around for at least 100 years (i think 2003 was its centenary). Blues has influenced every form of popular modern music.
Without it they'd be no Rock and Heavy Metal, Dancehall, Soul, Has even directly influenced Country, Dance Music, Disco, Modern day Rap and Soul artists
