Are you absolutely sure Libyans' don't speak Arabic. I only ask as I am a Libyan and thought we did.

Which one. Arabic is the official language but the others http://www.ethnologue.com/show_country.asp?name=Libya will only allow you to talk to a limited amount of people. A bit like a non-UK resident asking to learn Scouse really.
