There are reports of reticulated pythons being nearly 50 feet long ! There is no proof to back these claims up so currently the record for the longest snake is held by a 34 foot long ret python. Anacondas are slightly shorter than ret pythons, though they are much heavier (up to 800 lbs.)!!

This is true! The Anaconda is the heaviest snake in the world, while the Reticulated Python is the longest (i.e. the Anaconda is a stockier, thicker snake).

Even though anacondas are having the largest girth (around the belly after a full meal) and are the heaviest of snakes, they are not the longest of snakes.
