My dad and aunt were taking about doing this, going to this website, typing in the home address and seeing a satilite photo of your house etc... in realtime. I would really like to check this site out...however, they could not recall the name of the website.
If anyone out there knows of the site ... please let me know.

Thank you,

Go to google.com and search for "google earth", then download it for free. You can see a bird's-eye satellite view of your home.

There are no sites on the internet that let you do it in realtime. However, you can still locate a satellite photo by typing an address into Google Maps.

http://maps.google.com

Type an address into the search bar, then click "Satellite" when the map loads and it will switch to a satellite view.

maps.google.com gives satellite photos, but the photos can be a few years old. There's a new office building (3 years old) near my house, but Google Maps still shows a vacant lot.

I think Yahoo Maps has this feature now, too, but it takes a while to load.

Google Earth is a free program you can download from Google. It delivers a 3-D view of almost anywhere on earth, but if all you need are satellite photos, it's a bit of overkill. (It takes a while to download, and you need a newer computer for it to run.)

I am not certain of the site but I have heard of it also. Here is the URL from one site: http://www.satsig.net/maps/satellite-photo-image-viewer.htm. pictures are's that great.

Google Earth also has that feature but I think you have to pay a one time fee of $20. Try that also.
