did you purchase a lottery ticket or put your name in for that particular lottery? If not then don't bother cuz they want to rip you off. They might send you a check for like 3000. for fees and whatnot so you can get your money and it is fake. When you deposit it into your checking account you get into trouble big time and if you withdrawl it to pay the fees right away they get the money back and you get stuck with the overdraft and the legal issues associated with cashing a fake check. Stay away from the whole mess.

I also recd. this type of message and they are demanding money for that. Actually I did not play any game even then they are saying that I have won the ist Prize and so. They have shown me that I have won prizes for 4 times of different amount. They are sending me e-mails daily for last one month to deposit the money. I use to delete these messages without reading it as I know that these are totally fraud. Beware of these messages.

To satisfy your own curiosity just type in ' lottery scams' in your search bar, you will be surprised how many lottery scams there are.

If its a "Nigerian 413 scam", they'll ask you to send some money so that they can send you the larger amount.
Don't send anything - you won't get anything back.
