If it is a myth, so many entities are in cahoots. Like the people who make scales. I weigh myself, and there it is, gravity.

Gravity is not a myth. Many scientists went mad to prove it to you. The Earth does not suck things in. Gravity just pushes it torwards the center. The Earth is a great place to live. Some people are bad but most are good.

The law of gravity holds that there is gravitational attraction between all objects. The amount of attraction dependent upon the mass of the objects and how close they are to one another.
So, a particle of dust high above the earth's surface take time to fall to earth because it is lighter.
In deep space there is lots of distance, but gravity holds the entire universe together, much like gravitational attraction holds the planets of our solar system together.
In short
It isn't the earth sucking that holds things to it. However, lots of greedy, nasty, and otherwise innane people on the surface of the earth sucks.
So we can say to some extent, the earth does suck, at least by reputation!!!

Hi silkie 1, we meet again,
Well I suppose you could say earth sucks since one body may act upon another at a distance through a vacuum without the mediation of anything else. And that is to put it simply.
However, gravity is not a myth...

The introduction tale in Genesis is the in effortless words one from historic circumstances that holds up in cutting-edge circumstances. different cultures round an similar time had the universe getting into life after a warfare of the various gods. many times the earth and individuals were made by the prevailing gods from the body parts of the useless gods. Kinda stupid. you should comprehend- a million. The intro to Genesis became written in part as a reaction to the pagan introduction myths 2. The introduction tale in Genesis is poetic 3. The introduction in Genesis tale teaches us about God, morality, and our position interior the universe 4. The introduction tale in Genesis isn't a technology lesson. Few poems are. (If any.) i wish this helps. if so, you could avert destiny embarrassment by attempting for instance technology from this or different poetical works. Have a tremendous day. If you believe gravity is a myth, I have a suggestion.
Go to a bridge. And jump off.
If it is a myth, you'll just float up,up,up and away.
If not, you'll just SPLAT.
And gravity doesn't suck, it has an invisible pull.
Observe the moon and the tides.

suppose entire universe is just one body ( say a man) occupying l& b of cosmos having a supersoul like souls in any of us ,also imagine that in this body the hands are so large that all stars are in his fist & here itself they revolve around sun & do other chores. As we all have control on our body ,in a similar way this giant of a man called virat form of god exerts influence on every thing & we can name it gravity or gravitaion.I somehow donot subscribe to an inert mass exerting pull on another mass and after spending whole of my life on newton laws,Eienstein relativity feel that every mystery shall be settled once
we shed christian, islamic, sikh views on evolution & dissolution of
universe and agree to what is stated in gita by lord Krishna that it is
He who forms this universe through his 3 primary forms the THREE
VISHNUS ; one forming all matter, other forming all animate & inanimate beings & third occupying all living bodies. The dissolution
process is also highly scientific : all the water dissolves earth/matter
of the universe, the sun evaporates & air lifts all dust / dried & pulverised matter & throws it in Akash the fifth element & this stand still state lasts till next evolution which too is described in upanishad the holy books .Our problem is we fight even on issues twhich science can give correct answers to.In short there is a formless super god who transcends all cosmos & there is this VIRAT BEING that runs the cosmos through his faculties & power reposed in him by formless god. I feel writing this I am not infringing on faith of my fellow brothers.I hope also that science will one day find out how universe is being managed by super god & his lieutenants like lord Shiva, Brahma,Yama & Vayu,Varun etc. Er- birbmalhotra

Yes, and light is a myth too. What we call light is merely the absence of dark. Lightbulbs and candles suck up dark - this is proven by the fact that filaments and wicks are black once they have burned out.
