I don't know, but some Sushi can make you sick. I hope you get them from a good place. I am not a big fan of Eel rolls myself. I love other Sushi, though. =) Hope you feel better soon.

I can't eat eel rolls for some reason either. I can't even swallow it ....... I think it is the mirin (like a sweet cooking wine) they cook it in.
Eel (unagi) is supposed to be cooked. Maybe it wasn't cooked long enough?
I just stay away from it - it is easy enough to spot.

or do you mean my favourite
jellied eels (cockney Londoners grub)
if u mean fish rolled in onions
and pickled in a jar (herring)
the vinegar is sharp and can
upset the unaccustomed stomach
lining of newbies
eat small amounts if you like it
too much of its acidity in one go will make you feel ill,even for someone with a cast iron
constitution like me
i will limit it to eating one or 2 bits at a time
