I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I wear contact lenses (-1 prescription) cuz im short sighted.. but lately I see everything is blurry or double vision..
I was told that the hormones alter yr sight but I cant see..
Please help?

Its true - between the hormones and the water
distribution, your eyesight suffers.
If you can possibly wait until after delivery,
you should. I'd hate to see you spend money
on a prescription that does you little good.

I had to get my eyes checked for double vision and was given a new prescription while I was pregnant, the important thing is wait a while after birth and if you are again having vision problems go back. I was put back on my orginal perscrption 3 months after I had my son. I went to DOC and they changed my perscription back at no charge and did not charge me for the second eye exam. I thought that was really nice for them to do that.

pregnancy can cause all kinda things to get all hinky but if you cant see call your eye Dr and see if there is something they can do for you
