So that we can operate in this increasingly complex and technical world. Without math, it all becomes a blur. I know it's difficult, but it's hard to get anywhere without it.

As much as I say I don't like math, I still think it's a cool and important subject, somethings I get other things I believe should be left to the professionals. It's very good to learn the basics and somehow be able to apply it to real life, which I sometimes find hard to do. Just do your best!

even i used wonder the same thing not only abt maths but abt other subjects as well.
the reasons
1.they teach maths in school so u have no choice
2.it is important for day to day living of buying and selling
3.if ur aspiring to be some great scientist then i am sorry pal you got to chuck these thoughts out of ur mind and concentrate on maths bcoz maths is known to scientists as "THE QUEEN OF ALL SUBJECTS".
all the invention and discoveries made in all fields have to owe maths a lot. you will learn later (if you haven't already)
that the shape of the atomic orbitals are purely trigonometric functions!!!!!!!!!!)
so cheer up and enjoy your maths ;)

Because math is staggeringly useful! It doesn't seem that way when you're learning the basics; it seems pretty stupid, I know. But with the tools of mathematics, you will be given a language that can precisely describe any process or phenomenon you can imagine; and you can use that information for your own goals.
Stick with it, get through the tedium even if it seems pointless. If you do, you will have an intellectual tool of amazing power. Mathematics is one of the greatest creations of the human intellect.

Simple we need it 2 live. Math rocks-we use it every day
If that's not satisfying then here's another reason-
They're gonna continue teaching math in the future-including ur kids/nephews etc. so we learn math today so that we don't lose our face in front of them when they ask us how 2 solve their math homework

Math is indeed a very difficult and time-consuming subject to most people, especially students. One has to "crack" his/her brain to love Math and to do a lot of Math solving problems. We have to learn Math in order for us to help bring about efficient, orderly, progressive, and secure life in planet earth.
Dams, bridges, skytowers, undersea tunnels, spaceships, airplanes, vehicles, electronic equipments, computers, cellphones, roadways, financial and accounting systems, hubble telescopes, ships, submarines, and many many more inventions came about because of the wonderful Math knowledge behind engineering, electronics, and communications.

if you don't have to learn math, you couldn't send us your questions. Because we can read them only by binary system digits zero and one in math. If you don't have to learn math, you can't use your brain. All the cells there will die by the time.
Love math, learn math, send me your math question to answer them for you. OK?
