Go debt free first. Set up trust fund for my sons for later in their life. Put the rest in the bank and live off the interest.

I would have to agree that I would pay off all debts, but I would then use it to start an annuity. This annuity would be a 10 year fund which I would use to give annual payments to one of three or four charities. I have heard many times that some charities only use a small percentage of your funds towards the charity itself, so I may have to set up a charity and ensure that the money is going directly to: cancer research, diabetes research, other medical research, neighborhood centers and youth development groups, etcetera. I do have to admit that I can get by on what I am currently capable of making, so if I suddenly came across a great deal of funds, I would make sure others were taken care of.
