I am usually like that. Find yourself something reasonable to do. But a game! Or chat. I usually prefer playing games coz i don't want to hurt my fingers typing a lot. I prefer the headsets. And if you're using the headset and playing a game. You're multi-tasking and saving yourself from waiting your friends' reply and saves yourself from boredom.

Anyways...one of my favourite passtimes is to just explore orkut.com...not that you should take the same way out of boredom...but find where your interest lies...and explore sites that cater to your interests and explore the best of them.
I love sports, and love reading about them. So I just plunge into sites such as cricinfo.com, espnstar.com, atptennis.com and the like.
Another thing is to chat with old friends. You may never realise how interesting it can get. Just get started with it and you will enjoy remembering old memories.
