I define love as being something that is "ever-changing".
Love is something we all seek, and a life that is full of happiness is one thats spent looking for love, or eternally seeking love.
Because to me, when I say that love is ever-changing - here's what I mean.
...I remember the first time I knew I was in love, I told my girlfriend about six months in that I loved her. It was the greatest feeling in the whole world.. but then, about six months later, I really, really felt like I was in love with her.. it was as if I was on a whole different level of love, and so I was like "allright, Now THIS is love, so obviously whatever we had before wasn't love, it was just puppy love or something else"... and over the years, that instance kept recurring...
Love grows, forever.
It doesn't wane.
And Love itself is not blind, it blinds us.
So at the end of it all, yes, I define love as being something that we cannot define.
Its a sensation thats outside the range of what words can describe.
If you feel you can describe it - it ain't love yet.
Might be close, but it ain't love.

For me .. Being in Love is knowing that no matter what the end result is that you want to be with and make that persons life better no matter what ... I learned this when i lost my husband of two months to a birth defect that eventually led to heart failure .. I knew what i was getting into and i knew that my time would be short lived ( i had no idea it would be that short lived) but i wouldn't have changed a moment of it .. Because I am better for the laughter and the love that he brought into my life and i have a million happy memories that will always remain with me .. so being in love is knowing that you can only live in the moments and having the ability to make each moment happier for the person your with and that they make them happier for you ... No matter what you face you still want to be with that person ... that is love and love never ends ...

Depends what kind of love you mean. There's so many out there, the love you feel for your friend, the love you feel for your family. Then there's the love you feel for someone special. The whole being 'in' love thing.
In my opinion, there's no real definition for love, but you always know when you are, it feels like the empty space in your heart has been filled.

my definition of Love is: If you build a House it is most important to have a strong foundation or all things above wont last.
So, saying this, the same goes for true Love, the foundation should be strong as well like, honesty, integrity, spiritual, respect and with that comes the ability to put you're Partner ahaid of yourself. If you are able to do this and have those above mentioned foundation formulas, YOU HAVE LOVE!!!!
Without, you're LOVE WILL CRUMBLE.

True love is about sacrifice. Not just doing what you want but sharing and giving.
Found this little poem - thought i'd share it with you! (Kinda cute!)
If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.

Love is when you'll do anything for someone (mother and child kind of thing). And is probably something you get to after a while as you get to know someone. Attraction and desire is something else altogether (fluttering heart, hot flushes etc.)

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
