There are personality conflicts, we just don't get along
Or .......... he just does not listen
he treats his practice like a revolving door ( money income) and does not have the passion with people

Our family doctor when I grew up was over 6ft and always wore a black suit. I remember going off him when I had glandular fever - he pressed really hard on my spleen, asked "Does that hurt"... It hadn't before he pressed and it really really hurt afterwards.

Another Doctor wouldn't believe a diagnosis about my back that I'd been given by a private physiotherapist and gave me a good long lecture about how private phyios were ripping me off. Then sent me to the local hospital for a blood test - where the NHS physios happened to have a big display in the foyer about back pain. And you guessed it - they knew all about the diagnosis I'd been given and that it was real.

Oh and there was the doctor that always managed to get the conversation around to talking about how women should always achieve sexual satisfaction, even when you'd gone in about e.g. foot pain. I thought I was imagining it until our street had a group barbecue and other women said the same thing. He's retired now - thankfully.

And the other doctor that couldn't look a woman in the eyes - which was a big problem if you had a womans problem to talk about and he was the only doctor on.

I have an ongoing situation with my Pain Management dr right now where as of late when I've addressed my concerns to her and she has put me off, especially with a situation I'm contending with that I think she may be the cause of. I'm waiting to find out exactly what caused this newer pain situation and my first step toward finding out is a neurologist. I have an appt on the 8th to see if they have any clues.

As for the office staff, not sure yet although I have to say that this office is highly disorganized.

If you mean put off as in I didn't like them anymore, then yes. One prescribed me a steroid cream and told me to rub it in my face, it gave me a huge rash and I was well annoyed, so I switched prectice and now I have a pretty young Irish doctor that is great.
