The Doomsday clock is a figurative clock which tells how much potential there is for nuclear annihilation.
It is updated by scientists from Ohio ( it's really just their opinion, though they do know a lot about it)
The clock is published on the cover of The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’
we are now 5 minutes to midnight = which means there is a rather large threat of nuclear attack
Since the end of the "cold war" the has been a lot of discussion about destroying the clock or changing it, due to the fact that a nuclear strike today probably wouldn't "bring on doomsday"

I could be wrong but we are at 12 minutes to midnight now in the race for nuclear destruction acccording to the arms race and when scientist think the world powers will just start nuking each other. I think that is the Dooms day clock.

When your steam goes out of your ears, is called dooms day. If you want experiment do with a red chilli and some salt. Your brain may work better, as the devil goes out, then it does not doom for you.

it is a clock that counts down til the end of the world. There is an old old old movie that created teh theory. I forget the name of the movie.
