LOL Pronger and Phaneuf? Those guys definately will not be traded. If I am the Red Wings I go after Bertuzzi or Lapointe, Tkachuk or Guerin. A lot of teams could go after them but very few have the cap space.

Yeah the Ducks trading pronger????? NOT LIKELY!!! Anyways, the guy i would say is now drawing the most interest is Ryan Smyth. Lets be honest if theres anyone out there right now that a team would want hes the man. I dont care what team you are, anybody would want this guy on your team. He is a leader, he scores, plays defence, and is on PP and PK. If I were Buffalo with my rash of I would go after him. If I were Ottawa I would do anything to get him. Hes the kind of player that they need in the playoffs. He wont come cheap but if the Oilers dont resign him and then lose him in the off season as a free agent for nothing there will be some serious uproar in Edmonton. Next up is Bill Guerin, and Glen Murray, two guys who when put with a playmaker can light the lamp. Both guys are appraoching 30 goals and are playing on non playoff teams. They would help out any team for a playoff run. As for defencemen, Rob Blake and Eric Brewer would be the guys I would go for. They can both jump in and instanly add some depth to the defence corps. I would go for brewer before blake as he is younger and has more upside in the future. Thats my take. Hope that helps.

LA Kings.

Roberto Luongo (wish they had when they had the chance).

Because I believe that the goalie is by far the most important part of the team. I would try to get the best goalie I could and build form there. If you have no confidence that the guy behind you will be able to stop the puck, you won't play as well in front of him. The team will be a disaster.

The reason I chose the Kings (besides that I am a Kings fan) is because I think with a top goalie they will be a contending team very soon. I chose Luongo because he is still young and is one of the better goalies in the league.

If I were the GM for the Penguins, Id be looking for someone like Chris Pronger or Rob Blake. I'd want a better defense player who is more willing to play defense then shoot the puck. That is really the only weakness the team has right now and I'd go out and try to fix just that.

My favorite team is the SJ Sharks so i'll be GM for them.

The Sharks have depth at forward and at goaltending. As a matter of fact, we have too many bodies at forward so we definitely have trade bait if need be at that position. Goaltending is taken care of by the goalie rotation of Nabby and Vesa, who are both outstanding goalies that can start for any other team. Our most glaring weakness is defense. The guys we have now are young and inexperienced, and still take alot of penalties. Being the GM of the Sharks, i would take my focus to trying to acquire a playoff-savvy veteran with size who will stay out of the penalty box. 3 such possibilities include St. Louis' Eric Brewer, Los Angeles' Aaron Miller and Ottawa's Chris Phillips, all possible rental players as they're due to be unrestricted free agents after this season. Getting 1 of them would clearly help in adding leadership to go along with McLaren and Hannan and help in relieving the pressure on the younger guys such as Carle and Erhoff.

If I was the Sabres GM (My home team), I'd trade for Chris Pronger or Dion Phaneuf. Pronger is good all-around, and Dion Phaneuf scores, passes, good shot, checks, and fights. He is tough, and would be a good addition.

If I am the Kings GM, I trade for Lalime or Biron. I need solid goaltending if my team ever wants to compete with/be included in the top 8 in the west. It's no coincidence that the top 8 goalies in the West hold the top 8 seeds.

Yeah I would definately say Chris Pronger too. I think the ducks are sick of him being one of the most dominant defensive players in the league. In addition I heard the rumor that they don't like the fact that everyone watching and on the ice can know he is going to wind up that big slap-shot and he buries it anyway.

I am the Nashville Predators and i am going to trade for Peter Forsberg and Vitali Vishnevsky because i need a big veteran forward who has some chemistry with Paul Kariya to play alongside him, and i also need a veteran defencemen who can hit on my blueline.

Oh my god - they already made those trades??

WOW - looks like one team knows how to address their weaknesses, when will someone else finally learn?

if that happened in real life, Ray Shero would be chased out of Pittsburgh. It's basically a 1st rounder for Crosby. Lucic aint worth a bag of $hit
