You can not destroy the internet. You can only disable a site if you have the means.
1. Some sites thought to be provocative were disabled after the 9/11 by the CIA or who ever.
2. Attackers took down the Web site of the Recording Industry Association of America, unpopular for its crackdown on music swapping.
3. And two years ago, Internet attackers buried the White House's Web site in so much traffic that it, too, was inaccessible.

shut down in your area as in in your city, county, etc? You can't. Short of an act of terrorism, the internet is not going away, nor can it be "shut down" by one person, short of government involvement.
By checking out your other questions, I'd say you are pretty much a hopeless case...forget my answer.

I have to assume either:
1. You mean just in your house
2. You are some weird religious freak who thinks the internet is evil and wants to save the world, but if that were the case why would you be using it to ask??
You're plotting something arn't you.. lol
3. This is a joke. I'm betting on this one...

You can unplug your modem. Thats about it. If you tamper with anyone elses connection then that would be criminal damage to property and you would get to go to jail. On the bright side, No internet in jail.

You can't. Anything you do would involve damaging private or public property, whether physically or not.
