Why do they say jewish people love to eat bread and carrots?

That is news to me... I thought they liked pastrami on rye, potato pancakes and garlic pickles. So do I...Yumm.

Uh, I have never heard that. I grew up Jewish... most of us in my family hate carrots. And bread... who doesn't like bread?
