If heaven is so great, whats the point of living?

As for believing heaven is better than here, ever heard of the grass is always greener on the other side BUT don't forget ther's no coming back

i could never understand how some religious entity managed to make death more atractive than life ,and more importantly
why???
and why so many people wanted to believe in it

they only reason i can think of is to make people die more easy ,and more willingly ,if one wanted to use them for cannon fodder ,they would more easily sacrifice their lives for manipulating evil priests ,in the name of their God.

when you die if you feel anyway guilty or bad conscience you go to purgatory and not heaven, then people who are still alive pray for you to get to heaven. so if there is a mass suicide who going to pray for you. I'm sorry but supposedly suicide is one of the biggest sins you can commit and i read in a religious book that the people who commit suicide don't go to heaven god uses them as angels on earth to help other people, so as to fulfil what they were meant to do in the first place or an equivalent to that. that's what i heard so don't shoot the messenger.

For a Christian, the point of living should be to try and get everyone to accept Jesus as Saviour, so they can actually get into Heaven.

Imagine how upset you would would be if people you care about never got the opportunity to say yes and ended up in hell because you didn't try.
