I can remember every teachers name i had ever.
K= Mrs. Zapshella
1= Mrs. Buchinski
2= Mrs. Gustart
3= Mrs. Corey
4= Mrs. Martin
5= Ms Jeffreys
6= Mrs. Ornchuch
7= Ms Smith
8= Mr. Tamke
Then high school...too many to name here.lol. These really where my teachers.

One of my very first teachers was a Mrs. Thompson when I lived in Las Vegas at 5 and 6 years old.

Yes, her name was Mrs. Rau and on her b-day her son who was probably a senior in highschool came and got me out of her class and asked me to stand up and start singing Happy Birthday to her and get the other kids to follow suit. I must have nodded ok. Well I was pretty shy at the time and was considering this when a classmate asked me what her son had wanted. I told him and he said he'd do it. Ha! Steal my glory....no way! Mrs. Rau then told us to stop talking and she was a very stern lady. I did quit talking and she didn't get a Happy Birthday song either. When my teacher got home her son asked her how her day went. She said something to the effect of 'same ole, same ole'. Then it came out what I was supposed to have done. Oh sheesh! Anyway, my mom found out through another teacher and it was pretty embarrassing for me. That was over 45 years ago. So, Happy B-day Mrs. Rau where ever you are.

In nursery school and Kindergarten they all went by their first names and I remember Lisa, Wendy, Helen and Lynne. That was from 1981-84. It was Montessori school so they were all hippies.
In 1st grade it was Miss Ballard. I still remember all the other ones after that too...
