Nope, cold is only bad for you if you get so cold your core temperature drops. Keep your body warm and your feet will be fine too, even on cold floors.

I've been going barefoot for years and I have no problems at all. Almost everywhere I go I am barefoot. I found pains to actually go away and I have contracted no diseases or fungi from it. I watch where I walk and use common sense (not going barefoot at a land fill, etc). I have never heard about the hot feet coming out of shoes on the cold floor thing, but I know hot feet from walking across a parking lot into a store with a cold floor is great!

I know of many people, including myself, that walk around barefoot in the cold - even outside in the winter time. I have never had any problems walking barefoot and the Chicago area gets some pretty cold winters. Enjoy berefooting whenever and whereever you like.

ope. Why would it be? Is it bad for you if cold air gets on your hands? Snow is a bit much for any length of time, but going outside barefoot even when it's really cold and freezing is no biggie to true barefooters! Hot sand or pavement in the summer is another fun one.

Yes!!!! of course, Chinese people do not allow thier children to walk bare foot, sit or lie on cold floors. They said that the floor will suck the (I don't know what you guys call it, but I know it as power or energy ) away and make you become weak. Wear slipers. This will not occur in short run, but it will in long run. Your feet are where the nerves gathered, ex. if you have a headache, try massaging your toes.

humans walked barefoot on all kinds of cold surfaces for thousands of years before shoes were invented.

No more than sitting on a cold toilet seat in the middle of the night.

yes. You might step on something, and injure your foot, also, floor's are filled with Bacteria, it won't kill you but, it's not a good idea, especially for me, I have a 4 yr old son, and if you get up to "P" in the middle of the night, you are Guaranteed to step on a small car or toy in the hallway, with plastic crunching in the dark, OUCH !
