I am 6 days into my 28th week. I get checked everytime I go into the doctor or hospital to which I've made a 7 trips to between yesterday and today. I think they are sick of me but these pains won't leave me alone. I have been well taken care of by my doctors and everyone since I got pregnant but this fall and these pains have me worried.

It sounds like it could be Braxton Hicks - similar to labour pains - they are common - but nothing to worry about. All the best :)

Ask your doctor or midwife for a scan or ask if you can listen to the baby's heart this should put your mind at rest. Braxton Hicks contractions are painless, so I don't think its that. however I do know that it's not unusual to experience pain like that at this time in pregnancy, don't forget your tummy and insides are stretching to accommodate your baby this can't happen without a certain amount of pain, your baby is most probably having a growth spurt right about now. Your doctor should be putting your mind at rest if not try talking to your midwife/carer explain how anxious you are but 9 times out of 10 if they say all is well, then you have nothing else to go with but that. relax and rest often you will be fine. Good luck hun.

First of all I have to say that your first answer received was just stupid - people can be cruel sometimes, you are going through enough already without stupid answers like that. Go back to the doctor, make them listen to you and explain that you are not going to leave unless you get anwers that will put your mind at rest. Trust your instincts.
