Yup!! I used the letter on this site : http://www.moneytowers.com/2006/banking-credit/claim-back-unfair-bank-charges/ and got all my money back, yay!!

I have just written the letter before I came on here. Just having a bit of a rest before I do a detailed list of all the charges just in case! (Abbey)
I did do one at work for a client though and she got them all back.
The banks have a habit of closing your account though if you are successful.

I did get some money back from the bank last week..they charged me for something that I should not have paid for...

Yes I have. I claimed from HSBC and recently received the cheque. www.moneysavingexpert.com and www.consumeractiongroup.com were the most helpful sites for me.
