I do not think that blue contacts will show up on dark eyes and I am not sure about black I would suggest to just stay natural although they are harder to see when you drop one ask the supplier what they think and the cost also important. Good luck with the contacts they can be a nuisance, a bit fiddly and can dry your eyes as you are poking them but I do think that they are fun to wear not having to worry about glasses

Blue would be too superficial. Grey or black would be nice and natural looking, people won't think you have contacts on. But if you'd like to be more noticeable, go with the blue ones.
I'm still thinking about getting contacts at all, though. I heard they have some negative side-effects

Blue eyes and dark hair look lovely together. That is just me though everyone is different.

Why can't you buy both pair and one day wear the blue ones then the next day wear the black ones and see what people think of them but mostly the ladies.

personally... i do not like the look of a major change with color contacts....a lot of the time it looks fake....i would suggest just regular contacts.... and i believe they're cheaper.... honestly the blue on naturally really dark eyes is kinda creepy to me

Brown or black is fine. But not blue. Blue is an irregular-looking, im-a-nice-little-gentleman-boy. Black spells out dangerous, im-a-hot-bachelor-about-to-make-all-your-sex-dreams-come-true. Brown spells out i'm-caring-and-relationship-type

if you have an olive complexion and are trying to go with blue eyes, it will look fake.. try going just a tad bit lighter brown. like dark hazel. or dark green/brown.. but any drastic change and you will look silly and fake

I think either would look acceptable, but a darker colour would probably be better. Even black, lol.
