My period was late this month so I took a home pregnancy test and it came out a very faint positive. I did only test on day period was due (after it didnt come on) so my levels of pregnancy hormone could be low. Then 2 days later I began bleeding like my period. I re-tested & this time it came out negative. I was very upset to find I was no longer pregnant or first test was wrong. But now I dont understand what has happened because my period which lasts normally up to 6-7 days has almost stopped after just 2 days. I cant understand what has happened this month - has any one any advice? Thanks

Honey I know you are upset my daughter experienced the same thing she went to the health dept where they did a pregnancy test set her and set her up with pregnancy medicaid while she was waiting on the paperwork she went to the bathroom and she started spotting they sent her to the ob she picked out when she went they checked her and told her to come back in a week for her hgc blood test it came back with none the doctor called it a chemical pregnancy but after her next period she got pregnant and is 35 weeks 6 days. now the doctor said her body was preparing her to get pregnant good luck.

You May have just had some breakthrough bleeding and you may still be pregnant the best way to find out fast is getting a blood pregnancy test at planned parenthood its like 25 bucks

It might have been implantation bleeding will give you more info on it, but I suggest you go do a test at the GP because they are more accurate... And if you are pregnant you need a general check up anyway...

Sounds like implantation, i would do another test, you do not normally get a false positive, so i would thnk it was implantation and that you might actually be pregnant.
Sorry if i get your hopes up, but this is what it sounds like, do another test, and go to the doc if your still unsure.

you could still be pregnant, i would do another test to find out for sure, the bleeding you experianced could have been an implantation bleed, good luck

maybe thats implantation bleeding...u should go to the doctor and get a test...maybe a blood test...i had a very faint line but i not the bleeding..dont give up hope....good luck

If In Doubt see your G.P trust me you wont be wasting their time. Because even if it was just a late period, its better safe than sorry and you cant let it stress you out cos this could make it worse.

If i were you i would go see your doctor or nurse for some advice. This can happen that your period was late but i really dont know.
