If courier send by any government indrusty then will Service Charge Calculate, But any Private company then You will not know about Service Charge Because Courier company collect totaly Charges withount giving information about Service Charges
they taken courier Charges Amount ,
Do they deposite Service Charge or not , It information donot available customer.

yeah , service tax is compulsory for courier services ,percentage of service tax is 12.24%, they wil round off the amount to nearest figure to calculate the accounts easily,
for example if charges are 27 Rs, then the service tax will be
27*12.24/100= 3.30 Rs will be the service tax for that, now charges will be 30Rs and 30 Ps, so they are rounding of to 30Rs
