one of my favorite all time perrennials you can grow it from seed or by plants at your local nursery-it's very easy to grow it likes the sunlight and it is like a weed once you get it growing it blooms in the later part of summer and blooms in to the fall(frost) I have about 5 different colors because the plant is so easy.I Have white, purple, pink, yellow and orange coneflowers- the other really nice thing about the Coneflower is after it gets done blooming in the fall the flower heads dry and fall into the flower bed and in the next spring you have more coneflower plants! You will enjoy this plant !

Purple coneflowers (echinacea) are very easy to grow and care for. They prefer full-sun and rich, fertile soil. As a perennial they'll return year after year. As they become larger you can divide them. They're a great flower.

Hi from SC. Super easy to grow. Throw the seeds down, water, and enjoy. Walmart has seeds for $1, seed also available on line - lots of color variations. Great cut flowers, perennial, will reseed itself. have fun.
