thinking of getting final fantasy xii today can anyone tell me if its any good graphic and playability wise many thanks

It's a good game. Very different from the other Final Fantasy games but the difference is a welcome one. One difference is that there is no random battles. You can see the enemy while you are travelling so you can actually avoid them. You switch from exploration mode to battle mode seamlessly. And the characters can be fully customized and are not limited to one job class and weapon set. If you want your hero to use Guns, Bows, Swords, or Katanas, thats all up to you. The graphics are awsome you wont be dissappointed. I just finished it a few days ago... it was an epic.

If you have ever played a Final Fantasy game for the PS2 then that is what to expect in terms of graphics. The graphics in the cut-scenes are similar to FFX and FFX-2 but that is OK. The real greatness of this game is its battle system and storyline. The battle system is simple to use if you have it in standby mode and for a challenge you can set it to ATB mode (active time battle) which means enemies will attack you when you choose your commands. The storyline is also worth it. It is nothing like the wishy washy storyline of FFX and FFX-2. This has politics, war, betrayal, and many plot twists. Its a long one but it is well worth it in terms of graphics and playability.

Great game, great graphics with very enchanting story. The story up to the conversations are definitely better thought out then the older series. For me game play wise it was a little different and a little harder to adapt to.
If you do follow square a lot, then you'd notice that the game play from Kingdom Hearts has been adapted. A little more action

It's coming out soon. It's being shipped out on October 31. I have been counting down the days and I'm so exited about it! Final Fantasy is the best! I don't understand all of the ff haters...

In my personal opinion the battle engine is awesome gets a little gettin used to but its well worth tha 30 minutes gettin used to it, graphics...unbelievable. Alot of side quests, endless hours of game time awaits ya. I love this game.

well i have this game and im a couple missions away from beating the game and id say its really good but a whole new character setting , plot , pretty much everythings new but you can explore and use gambits which make your party members do certain actions at certain times if i were you id buy the game its really worth the money

Final Fantasy VII is one of the best games ever made. Your life will be much more complete after you have played the game. Ruby Weapon and Emerald Weapon were the two best fights I have ever fought in any game on any console.
