You die for the same reason for which you were born. Birth and death are complementary to each other. There are just events in the pilgrimage that the soul takes to realise itself. As long the karma is not worked out, you take birth and death one after another. Once you are liberated from the karma, you are liberated from the cycle of birth and death.

Man made medicine contains the expiry date. As the death is inevitable, the reasons are aplenty. All depends on the purva janma sukrutham. Please read and at least hear any sloka of Bhagwadgita.
