Really, he's always like "well.. I don't know", or he has an answer that could go both ways, or he just asks Simon, "What do you think Simon?".

I think he knows what he's talking about very much. I think he tries to see both the good and the bad which is why maybe it seems his answer could go both ways. I think he's just trying to be fair.

I know what you mean, something about him seems off this year. Perhaps he's getting bored with the show, he just seems out of it.
