I'm 20 and a virgin. I don't have a girl or anything, but I was thinking I'd either shave or trim my hair... you know.... down there...

No shaving is great. It looks and feels great and it gives you the look of being that extra bit bigger

If you're really that curious, do it and get it over with before you have a serious girlfriend. A lot of girls find guys that are shaved way too pervy looking, and it itches and burns when it grows back in. No girl wants to get close to somebody with a rash or prickly stubble down there. So go ahead and make it look freaky -- nobody else will see it, and it will grow back before it matters.
Oh, be forewarned: when you remove the hair, you will probably smell pretty bad down there. Hair is what keeps your clothes far enough away from the area to allow air circulation. Most guys who shave or radically trim stink. But again, better to get it out of your system so it can grow back and be normal before you get a girlfriend.

don't shave because it's going to give you a terrible rash. if you are out of control down there, a trim is good. but if you're not dating anyone at the moment there's really no need. the more you shave, the thicker it's going to get. there's hair removal creams, which are good as long as you don't get too close to sensitive areas and in general your skin isn't very sensitive. it says to try it in a small spot and wait 24 hours to see how you react to it before doing it all over.
also, you could wax. it would hurt but when you have a girlfriend, i think she'd really appreciate it. this is by far the last and most extreme option.

don't shave it b/c it will itch like a mutha, however trimming is best don't get a forrest down there just, keep it like a nice golf green if ya know what I mean, and have fun!!, Don't slip up though it may hurt a bit!!!!

the fact that you think you need to be gay to trim your pubic hair kind of disturbs me. but id say go ahead trim/shave whatever you like.

shaving is okay... but actually shaving has no relationship with virginity, gay or other things... its juz more hygienic to shave... =)
