Timing belts were changed every 80K and just changed at 190K I change oil and filter every 3k miles and I also use high mileage additives. and I keep up on tranny, radiator, and all the other fluids and keep records so don't even try to scold me. I know what I'm doing.

theres really not a lot you can do cheap. if its running fine, let it be. stay away from the additives though. if it really did what it said, you think it would be 14.95? no way. more harm than good, my friend.
(engine sludge, anyone?) sounds like youve done pretty good with this car, keep it up see how it goes. any fix for low compression is not cheap at all.

If you want to get the most from your engine then treat her right and don't cut corners. how long sence the timing belt was changed ? if over 60,000 miles your on borrowed time anyways. check your timing belt sometimes they stretch enough to throw the valve timing off enough to loose a little compression. runn it to long and you,ll buy a new motor . those are interferance motors and self distruct if the belt blows because the valves hit the pistons.SO JUST PUT OUT THE MONEY AND REBUILD IT RIGHT OR BUY ANOTHER MOTOR

there are oil additives for old engines to make their pistons more lubricated and at the same time makes the engine chamber tighter. there are popular brands and well-reputed but other than not wanting to endorse brands i am losing memory as to names, but shop around as you will find name recall will come otherwise you can read the labels and see which really convinces

well you can always put in some engine restore in your car with your oil when you do your next oil change, cleans your car keeps it cool reduces friction better than oil...its about 11 bucks at most and it cleans your cylinder walls of your car and keep your piston rings cleaner and reduces burned oil on the side walls of your engine on the inside...

losing compression?
how did you test it? leakdown test?,,,,
are you seeing anything in your oil? water ect? are you getting steam or bubbles in your overflow? head gasket problem?
you noticing alot of oil in your pvc?
blowby ect???
could be rings, head gasket cracked piston,, we would all need more info to advise.
if ya dont care about the car try the oil addative that the other guy suggested.

keep doing what you are doing , no cheap good way to fix low compression , try 5w40 or 5w50 synthetic ( not semi , full synthetic ) and it may help keep your rings sealing like they should , good luck , go for 250 K miles .
