I had a 3 year age gap between my first 2, and i was very very small not showing until about 29 weeks, and then only a little. I am now pregnant with my 3rd , my youngest is 3 and a half, i was the same weight at every pregnancy, 8 stone 4 im 5 foot 4. This time im 9 weeks and i can already see a bump coming, so i dont think it matters, its just your body kicking i n sooner.

Due to your stomach muscles being lax from your first pregnancy your muscles will naturally not be as firm as with your first. Second pregnancies and subsequent ones tend to cause show alot earlier and it always seems to be bigger. I am 12 weeks pregnant with number 2 and I am as big as I was at 7 months with number one. With number one I didn't even start to show till I was almost 7 months along.

I was like you and trust me when you go to the antenatal clinic - if they thought there was something wrong they would tell you or something would have been said by now - don't let yourself worry about something like this - it only leads to paranoia - if you are truly concerned, have a chat with your midwife, they probably come into contact with loads of women that get pregnant soon after having the first.

Best of luck for a smooth pregnancy!!

Yeah it is normal, especially since you have had a previous child and that previous child was born recently. It is an often seen occurence to show earlier the second pregnancy than the first because everything is strechted out already. congratulations and good luck!!!

Hiya,
If you have any real concerns then speak to your midwife or doctor but when I was pregnant with my daughter friends did tell me that subsequent babies show more as your muscles won't be so firm after the first baby, loosening things up a bit!

Unfortunately in most cases after a baby the stomach muscles are never the same again - so subsequent babies tend to show much earlier!

that is common. completely, definitely, somewhat regular. extraordinarily early days, we are this style of hormonal mess that the assumption of expressing affection is unthinkable, most of the time. for my area, i'm in week 11 of my 2nd being pregnant and actually no longer partial to my husband. (I mean, i'm - yet i'm no longer.) that is much less perplexing to be carefree with people who anticipate much less of me maximum appropriate now - extraordinarily with people who do no longer yet know of the magnificent ameliorations dealing with on interior of. So i does no longer sweat it, until eventually this is going on into her 2nd trimester. She probably desires some area to technique what's occurring, and additionally desires a gamble to *no longer* think of roughly it all the time. i could desire to declare, i'm no longer the emotional style - however the swirl of drama and insanity that comes up every time is astounding and overwhelming. decrease back off, and odds are she'll come decrease back.
