an isotonic glucose solution which is not an electrolyte must be 0.3M (mole /Liter) as the molecular weight of glucose is 180,

you need for 1L = 1000 mL 0.3*180 =54g

and for 500mL which is a half of liter 54/2 =27g

You don't need molecular weights to calculate % solutions. Fifteen percent means fifteen parts per hundred. So, 100 mls of a 15% solution would require 15 g of glucose. Do the math for 500 mls.

0.16 M NaCl soln is isotonic with blood (Remember it always!!!!-as u remember ur name!!!!!) so lets

equte: Molarity of NaCl soln(0.16)=Molarity of glucose (2*x/180(molecular mass of glucose))

and find x= and that many gms of glucose is required!!!!!

Hahahaha
ENJOY!!!!!
