iv just been sitting around thinking about how much people have changed over the years and im still the same. it makes me question whether or not they were ever real to begin with. i am who i am. i speak what i feel. that never changes because its written on my soul almost. i could not fake anything, so how do others change like that.

sure things change. im aware of that. i dont dress the same as i did. i always have different interests. im into different things. iv even learned new things. but theres nothing that i could be exposed to that would turn me into something like a kiss ***. or change my ultimate ways. i guess you could say theres a part of me that couldnt change. i look at others as almost lost souls that dont know them selfs inside. so they choose to follow other people for hope of finding themselves. i know who i am. thats the bottom line.

The most constant thing in this world is change.

Life is a continuous process of learning and adaptation. you learn something for the better, you change. if you moved into another place, you will adapt to the conditions it possesses, you'll change.

People are called homo viator because we are a traveler. We tend to seek and develop.

You just haven't noticed it yet that you also have changed. It might not be that BIG and HUGE, still its a change.

Change

Sometimes I’m terrified of change
It feels as though the ground
Is being pulled over from under my feet
Like a carpet
And I’m stumbling off my feet
I try to cling on to the curtains
In the window
But I only manage to pull them off
And fall with them on the floor

Change makes me feel so confused
So many new things I know I have to experience
To rearrange my room and with it my life
Nothing is forever, I know
But all this change and this new confuses and tires me

So many dreams have fallen down, broken
Into pieces, which have scattered around
Like broken glasses with or without water in them...

I hold no illusions, I am not naive
But I feel I am entitled at least to have dreams
Even though I am aware of reality...

No Change in Me

Days float by
Years and months as well
Everything changes around me
Everybody around me as well
I seem to remain the same
To have been frozen in time
To have remained in the same place
Being pressured to change
Yet remaining where I am
Because of too much confusion
My aging only an illusion

In spite of all my writing
In spite of all my learning
I remain only myself
Never aging, never growing
Slightly changing some days
Then turning out to have remained the same
Am I not still called by the same name?

I don’t know where to go
I’m not sure I want to go
Where I should anymore
I need a parallel life
I need it badly
In disappointment not to cry out sadly

A parallel world
The world of my most hidden desires
To live my craziest dreams
To be the person I can only create the illusion I am
Living in glamour and happiness
While in the other life I live in disappointed madness

My reflection in the mirror
Glances back at me
No change in me is what I see

I have no age, no past and no future
No present either
I live in the middle of two worlds
This arrangement for me always holds

You are hurt but I need to know how they changed? If they did for better or worse? Ok. Then you should be happy that you are different. When I was 17 I had such a great fashion sense and a lot of girls would either copy or hate me. I gave into that hate I changed. There was so much jealousy that I received that I tried not to dress in a way that others would cause me pain. I regret that change now because I stoped being the person that I wanted to be. Even now, I have always cared for people but some people are cruel and they can hurt us. I hope that your friends who have changed made a positive change for reasons that they felt needed change. Not for others. Talk to them if you feel they are not the better people you saw them as. I hope everything becomes more clear to you.

Actually it only seemed like the others changed when in fact it was you who was changing while they remained the same. They just looked different to you every time your own outlook and point of view changed. And everybody can fake things for self-preservation - so the fact that you think you can't means you don't really know what's going on around you every day. You may need help.

People change because of the things they are exposed to during their lifetimes. You may not think you have changed but look back to when you were very small. Do you still believe the things you believed then? No, you don't - You have changed because you grow more aware of your surroundings, you think more etc. You have probably changed more than you think. Change does not = bad.
On the other hand - some people do change in order to fit in with those they admire.

I think it has a lot to do with each person's experiences in life and how they respond to them. I know I am a completely different person from 3 years ago simply because my life has changed and I have adapted to those changes.

I believe people interact with all different groups of people looking
to find a place they fit the "norm". Sometimes they need change
to help them determine the right path! I"d change too, if that meant
finding "Peace on Earth!!!"
