I had my son dec 5, 2004... since then, i've only had a couple periods. he's 2yrs 2months now, and i have had 4 periods, the last one being on march 12th, 2006...almost a year ago. i know i should go to the doctors, but my question is, since we're trying to have another baby (been trying since he was 6 months) can i get pregnant, and why do you think i'm not getting it anymore? *thanks* jenn

well you obviously have some kind of "malfunctioning" and I guess you could get pregnant, but I don't think it would be wise, you should find what's going on first, go to the doctor right now

Some women don't get periods after they have their first child and are still fine to have more. I would see your Dr just to make sure everything is fine especially since you have been trying for 6 months now. Good Luck

hormones play a major part in your menstral cycle. If your hormones are still out of kilta then this could explain the lack of period. Are you ovulating? Ovulation is what you need to be checking on as this determines when you can get pregnant. ARe you breast feeding or on any contraception? You really should see your GP.

After you have a baby your periods take time to go back to normal you may be a few months pregnant your hormones are way out of whack after you have a baby and you are more ferile after you have a baby because your uterus is still streached out i got preggers with my 3rd child when my 2nd was 4months old

Well if you happen to have sex, when you happen to ovulate you could get pregnant. But if you haven't had a period in a year you are not ovulating, so go see your OBGYN...you've been trying long enough where they'll start to look for a reason.

you can get pregnant just having a uterous or overies or all of thoes women things inside u. I'm pregnant and I still don't spell that stuff right!!! LOL!!! You very well can get pregnant!!! Having a baby messes up your body so I'm told. Go to your local doctor if your seriously worried or concerned!!

my friend had never got a period but still she has 2 wonderfull kids.
but you should consult your doctor because not having your period is not good and you might only need some pills and you'll get pregnant in a jiffy

i by no skill heard of dirrahoea an constipation warning signs of being pregnant...bt who knos. i didnt have mine 4 3 months and tha humorous factor is is that i presumed i became pregnant 2. and that i became bloated tha entire time...i had the suitable same factor happen ta me. i went to flow take a try an it became adverse...they advised me back decrease back in 2 weeks if i nevertheless didnt have my era...nicely i jus have been given it.

You will not be ovulating. Time to see the gynecologist to do some hormone testing and other tests to find out what's up.

First of all you should go to doctor. My wife is also facing a problem like this. So don't worry.You should to eat dry fruits in this time.Hopefully you would be well.
