First let me CONGRATS! Second, normally I don't give smart behind answers on here, because I don't like to get them myself. But when I first read your question, my answer was "the same way you named your first".......

I am pregnant and due with my second child in June, I picked several names that I liked, my husband picked a few, and then we asked our daughter what she thought. After several minutes of thinking she came up with the name Tyler for a boy. Her thought it was just like her name except drop the a in her's to make his. My husband and I are thinking that is going to be the name of the baby. I should also tell you that my daughter is almost 7 too, so that kinda helped.

Anyway, my suggestion is to keep with the same theme, sound pattern, or letter. Do you know what you are having yet?

For a girl I would suggest:
~ Meada (pronouced may-duh)
~ Meaghan (pronouced may-gan)
~ Mariah (as in Mariah Carey)

For a boy I would suggest:
~ Micah (pronouced my-ka)
~ Maddox
~ Mason

GOOD LUCK, and let us know what you decide please!

Girls names:

Maya and Kate

Maya and Emily

Maya and Madison

Maya and Felicity

Maya and Alicia

Maya and Olivia

They all go very nicely. A good middle name which goes well with all of the above except for the 1st name which is Kate is the middle name Kate. For the name Kate, Louise goes well with it for a middle name.

For boys:

Maya and Michael

Maya and Daniel

Maya and Benjamin (Ben for short)

Maya and Jordan

Maya and Matthew

Maya and Luke

Many names go well with the name Maya. I personally love the above ones.

Do a search for baby names on google or yahoo and go to "M" for a boy or a girl and you can get a good idea of what would be a perfect match.

Names should have meaning.....pick something that goes with the name you've given your daughter. For instance my first born is named Justice and my 2nd daughter was named Liberty. Im in Lawenforcement so that is how I came up with Justice. Family names are always nice to choose from and last names can make for great unique first names...with a meaning.

If you go to a library close to where you live there is a book that will give you a better idea what to name your child. Ask the librarian what you are looking for and she should be able to help you locate that book..
Good Luck with your Baby's name.
