I was told by a current pharmacy student that it will be extremely difficult to get into pharmacy school having completed the pre-requisites at a community college. She said that of the 162 students in her class only two went to community college. If i don't get in should i transfer to a 4 year school and complete the same classes or what?

Yes, it's extremely hard to do so. But yes, if you don't get in, just go to a 4 yr, get your degree, and try again. You really don't have much to lose.
