I went to one several years ago that had over 400; all I could do was see $$$$ signs and shake my head at the enormous amount of money ($200,000) that was spent on the ceremony and reception. It was just unbelieveable to me. A thousand alone was spent on the cake.

I once attended a "traditional" chinese wedding where there were over 400 guests. That wasn't the "large" part; the "large" that I refer to was the 15 Course Meal that was served!!! On top of that, the bride would step out and come back to the banquet after having changed into a different dress and jewelry in-between servings! And these weren't traditional gowns; each gown was ornate and had sequins of gold!
