THE CHIPMUNK sound?????!!!!!!!!!!please enter?

Question

i want to make a video for my boyfriends birthday, and he finds the chipmunk voice so funny , he laughs till he cries...so i want to recored I LOVE YOU BABY in a chipmunk voice, can you please tell me how? is it a function in my camcorder or what?
(if you dont know what im talking about then there is an example down there..)

you need to work on spelling and such, but other than that, send the video through email to me after you record it (YIM would work, just file transfer with me)

okay, to answer your question (since alot of people want to know this) there are two ways (from what I know)
1 double speed,which is avalible for any windows XP user with windows movie maker

2 pitch alteration which usally can be found in music editing programs (which I happen to have)


... thats it, to answer the camcorder question, no, most camcorders don't have that feature (because it is impossible to speed up time...oh, I didn't think of that, just slow down the frame rate and play it at normal speed when you watch...sorry, I'm blabbering on now, the youtube example you gave looked like they used movie maker, just go to your desktop, start>all programs> and you should find it in accessorys or somewhere else there, if not look on www.microsoft.com
and look up windows movie maker 2 (compes with service pack 2)
