89-93 B2600i's are good vehicles with a Mazda made 2.6l fuel injected engine.

87 and 88 B2600's have a Mitsubishi made 2.6l with a Mazda carb. Last I checked, no one makes a carb kit. I used to sell the carbs for $800. I'd stay away from 87 and 88 models.

What year are we talking about? For the most part any Mazda is a good vehicle and a great find on the used market since they depreciate quickly. The B2600 is pretty much identical to a Ford Ranger, so its a good truck and a nice value too. 4x4 is nice, but does reduce gas mileage slightly and a little higher chance of future repair.

Yes they are, they're fairly powerful and they're indestructible vehicles, they even have more power than the Nissan and Toyota 4x4's of the same era.
