The Mazda B-series and the Ford Ranger are the same truck. You can also use parts from the Bronco II

Yes, you can use the Ranger/BroncoII or even the B4000 motor if you want to upgrade to the more powerful V6, just make sure there's no issue with the transmission matching with a larger motor. Are you also replacing the transmission, you probably should while you've got the engine out.
