I don't know much about San Diego State, to tell you the truth. However, there is a great deal of theatre and theatrical talent down there. The departments at UCSD (which has an affiliation with the La Jolla Playhouse) and USD (affiliation with The Old Globe) are both very strong.
Because there is so much vibrant professional theatre in the area, it pretty much stands to reason that you'll be working with some very good instructors.

It's actually quite good...and the weather is nice....and LA isn't too far up the road when you graduate. (From: Pro Producer/Director)
